  9. NeedlePointSew is a MacIntosh Type1 font converted for PC use in Windows  
  10. 3.1. This display font gives typed copy an Early American or "Home  
  11. Sweet Home" look. NeedlePointSew gives the typist and graphic artist  
  12. versatility to immediately communicate an Americana theme. Use for  
  13. eyecatching, year round notices, headlines and ad display to convey  
  14. messages of Mom and Apple Pie.

  16. Instead of reaching for clip art books or diskettes to find images of  
  17. hand sewn pillows or wall hangings, reach for the keyboard and click away. I  
  18.  recommend no lower than 10 pts. It's IDEAL at the 24 pt. to 48 pt. range for 
  19.  
  20.  ad copy, posters, displays  etc. I currently teach drawing, painting,  
  21.  printmaking, year book DTP, and commercial art to future artists, possibly  
  22. typographers (alias) high school students; and  produce serious art for  
  23. local,  
  24.  regional and national juried exhibitions.

  26. To Install: Once in Windows 3.1 launch the Control Panel in the Main  
  27. window. Select Fonts utility and click on the Add...Button. Choose the  
  28. drive and/or directory to locate he TrueType font (.TTF file). Your font  
  29. should appear in the Installed  Fonts window. Close the dialog box.  
  30. You shouldn't have to restart Windows.

  33. of $9. If you SHARE this font, please include all files and documents  
  34. in one folder. I currently teach drawing, painting, printmaking, year

  48. Since creating my first font SnyderSpeed Brush (11/91 v.1 upper case  
  49. only), the encouragement of shareware fees and/or input from users,  
  50. allowed me to update SnyderSpeed by adding lower case (1/92), plus  
  51. create OregonWet (on AOL's Nov. 91 top download's list), OregonDry,  
  52. MarkerFeltThin 2/92, MarkerFeltWide 4/92 (used by Aldus Magazine's "New  
  53. Comics" article, pgs.18-20 July/Aug '92 issue) and StarsAndStripes 7/92;  
  54. updates to MarkerFelt Thin v2, MFWide v2 and (SnyderSpeed Brush v3  9/92  
  55. and ComicsCarToon 10/92 (featured in Aldus Magazine 3/93), both top  
  56. downloads; NeedlePointSew 11/92; MarkerFinePoint 3/93. Fonts are  
  57. available both in Type 1 and  True Type Formats on AOL and CServe for  
  58. the Mac.
